You’re in the right place to learn about your Illumina benefits. Before you enroll, take a moment to explore the plans and programs available to you.
Start by reviewing the medical, dental, and vision options in the top Health menu. You’ll also find details about mental health support, family resources, and other helpful programs throughout the site.

One of your first priorities is to choose your benefits. To have coverage, you must enroll in your benefits on Workday within 31 days of your hire date. This includes medical, dental, vision, and any other benefits you want to elect.
Be sure to also designate your beneficiaries. Learn more about how to enroll.
You can also enroll your eligible dependents in many of the same plans you choose for yourself.
Once you’ve completed your enrollment, print the confirmation showing all your elections for your records. You can also check the Benefits tab in your Workday profile to confirm your enrollment was finalized.
You’ll be automatically enrolled in the Illumina 401(k) Plan at a 2% deferral rate within about 30 days following your date of hire. You can adjust your deferral rate up or down after you receive your first paycheck. Manage your deferrals, choose your investments, and view your account balance through Fidelity.
To maximize your savings, Illumina matches 50% of the first 6% of your contributions. That’s a 3% match when you contribute at least 6%.
