All regular employees scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours per week are eligible for Illumina benefits.

If you are newly employed with Illumina, you must make your benefit elections within 31 days of your date of hire.
Your benefit coverage will be effective on your hire date. If you do not enroll for coverage within 31 days, you must wait until the next open enrollment period unless you have a qualifying life event.
Your medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability and flexible spending accounts begin on your date of hire as long as you enroll within 31 days.

At enrollment, you are required to enter the Social Security Number for all covered dependents.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) require our medical plans to report this information for coordination of benefits purposes.
